Terms of Use

Drive Shell is a free Windows desktop application that displays a summary of your Microsoft OneDrive storage usage. The app reads storage metadata through the Microsoft Graph API and presents it in a simple, easy-to-read format on your device.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use Drive Shell on Windows devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

Drive Shell requires you to sign in with a Microsoft account. Your use of your Microsoft account is subject to Microsoft's own terms of service and Privacy Statement. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

You agree not to:

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app.
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality or the services it connects to.
• Redistribute, sublicence, or make the app available to third parties except as permitted by the Microsoft Store.

All rights, title, and interest in Drive Shell — including its code, design, and branding — remain with the developer. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the app.

Drive Shell is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the storage information displayed will be accurate at all times, as it depends on data returned by Microsoft's services.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Drive Shell. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (if any).

We may discontinue Drive Shell or revoke your access at any time without notice. You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of Drive Shell after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
